At Buglawton Hall all students follow a Personal and Social Development programme that is built around the qualification pathway offered by ASDAN's PHSE course.
Students are helped to develop and demonstrate a range of skills through individual and group activities and studies. They develop an understanding of PHSE issues and are able to gain credit for what they have learnt from a wide variety of activities both inside and outside the classroom.
At present we offer accreditation for the PHSE Short Course. It provides students with opportunities to develop PHSE knowledge and skills and how to use them effectively.
The learning pathway we offer allows for recognition of and rewards students' personal achievements. It helps students manage their own learning, broaden their experiences as well as develop their employability skills and personal effectiveness.
